This role is full time (37.5 hours per week) and will be based in our Borehamwood Office.

What will I be responsible for?
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for looking after our customers and ensuring they are always well informed of our full product range. You will also be responsible for following-up on any new customer leads. Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing customer accounts
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling of products
Acting as the first point of contact for new customer leads, generated through web, email, phone and exhibitions
Organising and following-up on product samples sent to customers
Liaising with the Customer Service and Accounts teams to ensure you are aware of any ongoing issues
Negotiating prices, delivery charge and payment terms with customers
Ensuring all new customer forms are completed and then setup on the system
Keeping up-to-date with industry news and product launches
Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience
Maintaining accurate customer records to ensure all customer accounts are up-to-date
Who are we looking for?
Our ideal Account Manager, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience within a similar role. You will also require the following skills and experiences:
Excellent at building rapport with people
Confidence in negotiating and handling customer objection
Upselling and cross selling
Excellent telephone manner
Enthusiastic with a great “can do” attitude and good work ethic
Must be well organised
Always has a willingness to help
Excellent IT skills
Ability to use their own initiative and enjoy projects
Who will I be reporting to?
This role is reporting to the Senior Sales & Customer Service Manager
Hours of Work:
Monday – Friday: 9:00am to 5:30pm

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION APPRENTICE
As our ‘Apprentice Superstar’, you will be joining a small team that helps to provide fantastic customer service to all of our customers. You will also assist the marketing and sales teams when necessary.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Office Coordinator with various administration tasks
- Deal with customer queries and orders by email and phone
- Updating our social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
- Providing a high level of service to all customers
- Arranging transport for deliveries
- Arrange invoices for customers
- Assist the Finance Manager and Credit Controller with invoices, expenses, general filing, day books
- Assist the marketing team
- Assist the Office Coordinator with organising staff social events
- Maintingin a good relationship with our Warehouse team in Basildon
- Assisting with trade show days
